HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

Your annual u3a subscription gives you access to all groups. Each group is different. Some activities are free, some share costs such as room hire or refreshments, and some activities such as a visit to a local museum or a coach outing are at cost.

Groups are run for the members by the members, we are all volunteers. Groups can be run by one person, by a group of friends, or by a team. U3a is about sharing and members are encouraged to take an active part in the running of their respective groups where possible. You don't have to be an expert, just an enthusiastic member. If you have an interest that you would like to share with others, even just two or three others, then it's easy to start a new group.

Could you set up a Group? What about Bird Watching, Tennis, Board Games, Poetry Reading, Photography, IT, Wine making, Wine Appreciation, the list is endless. If you or your friends could, please contact Group Coordinator and Speaker with your ideas and we will assist you to set it up.
